We met at a work conference and became really good friends. Then about a year later out of the blue he asks me if I would like to be his girlfriend. No notice or anything; according to him he had tried before but I have no idea what he was talking about. Of course I said yes.

Then August of the following year after a night filled with Rays Baseball and a Flo Rida concert I came home to a room lit with tea light candles and rose petals everywhere. Needless to say I was speechless. When I turned to ask him what was going on he was down on one knee. He took my hand and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I said yes and the rest is history.

Now we’re in the middle of planning for our Feb 19, 2011 wedding.
